About the Prints
What printing substrates are available?
Each image in the Roshan Panjwani Fine Art Prints collection is available on three substrates: Fine Art Photo Rag (Hahnemühle cotton paper), Acrylic Face-Mount (photographic print laminated behind 3mm optical acrylic on a Dibond aluminium back), and ChromaLuxe HD Metal (image dyes sublimated directly into a coated aluminium panel). The substrate offered for each image reflects the photographer's assessment of which material best suits that image's tonal and compositional qualities.
What is an acrylic face-mount print?
An acrylic face-mount print is made by laminating an archival inkjet print face-down against 3mm optically clear acrylic, then mounting the assembly on a Dibond aluminium back panel. The acrylic refracts light across the image surface, producing colour depth and luminosity that paper-based substrates cannot replicate. The finished piece is frameless; it mounts flush to the wall or with a float gap depending on the hardware used.
What is a ChromaLuxe HD Metal print?
ChromaLuxe HD Metal is a dye-sublimation process in which image dyes are infused directly into a coated aluminium panel under heat and pressure. There is no paper layer and no ink on the surface — the image is part of the aluminium itself. The result is exceptional colour depth, high shadow detail, and a surface sealed against moisture, scratches, and UV fade. ChromaLuxe HD Metal is distinct from traditional Dibond construction and should not be confused with it.
What is Hahnemühle Photo Rag?
Hahnemühle Photo Rag is a cotton rag paper produced by Hahnemühle, a German paper mill with more than four centuries of continuous operation. The paper weighs 305 to 315 gsm depending on the variant, carries ISO 9706 archival certification, and contains no optical brighteners or surface coating. It is the benchmark substrate for fine art photography printing in galleries and museums worldwide. Depending on the image, prints are produced on the Baryta, Ultra Smooth, or Bright White variant — the choice is made per image by the photographer.
How long will my print last?
Fine Art Photo Rag prints produced on Hahnemühle paper are rated for archival stability well in excess of 100 years under normal display conditions, based on the paper's ISO 9706 certification and the pigment inks used in production. ChromaLuxe HD Metal and Acrylic Face-Mount prints are similarly rated for long-term lightfastness. All prints should be displayed away from direct sunlight and sustained high humidity. Framed paper prints benefit from UV-filtering glazing.
Where are the prints made?
All Roshan Panjwani Fine Art Prints are produced at Total Image Works in Toronto, Ontario — a Hahnemühle Certified Studio founded by Edward Burtynsky in 1986. Total Image Works operates Epson SC-P20000 large-format presses and handles production, quality inspection, and fulfilment. Hahnemühle Certified Studio status means the lab meets the manufacturer's standards for paper handling, colour management, and output consistency.
About Editions
What is a limited edition print?
A limited edition print is one produced in a fixed, publicly stated quantity that will not be exceeded once the edition sells out. Each print is hand-signed and individually numbered by the photographer, and ships with a physical Certificate of Authenticity identifying its position within the edition. Once the stated edition size is reached, no further prints of that image at any size are produced.
What is the difference between the Signature Edition and the Fine Art Edition?
The Fine Art Edition is available for 15 of the 16 images in the collection, with 30 prints per image. The Signature Edition is reserved exclusively for King of Ice — the collection's headline image — and is limited to 15 prints. Both editions are hand-signed and numbered; the Signature Edition represents a tighter edition ceiling for the single image in the collection with the most extensive publication history.
What happens when an edition sells out?
When an edition reaches its stated limit, that image is permanently closed. No additional prints are produced at any size or on any substrate. All sizes — whether 20×30 inches or 40×60 inches — draw from a single shared pool per image, so the edition count reflects total prints across all sizes and substrates combined, not per size.
Does every print come with a Certificate of Authenticity?
Every print from Roshan Panjwani Fine Art Prints ships with a physical Certificate of Authenticity printed on archival stock. The certificate is hand-signed by Roshan Panjwani using archival-grade ink, numbered to match the print, and bears a physical rubber stamp impression in the signature zone. Buyers may also register their print at prints.roshanpanjwani.com/pages/vault to receive a linked digital certificate and permanent verification record.

Where do you ship?
Roshan Panjwani Fine Art Prints ships to Canada and the mainland United States as standard. International orders outside these regions are available by quote — contact prints@roshanpanjwani.com before placing an order.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free to all destinations in Canada and the mainland United States. International shipping is quoted individually based on destination and the size and substrate of the print ordered.
How are the prints shipped and packaged?
Prints are packed and shipped directly from the production studio in Toronto. Smaller paper prints are shipped flat in rigid, custom-dimensioned boxes with corner protection. Larger prints and rigid substrates — Acrylic Face-Mount and ChromaLuxe HD Metal — are crated or boxed with foam padding appropriate to their weight and fragility. Tracking is provided for all shipments.
Can I request a custom size?
Custom sizes are available by consultation, subject to the resolution of the source file for each image. Not every image supports every output dimension at print quality. To discuss a custom size, contact prints@roshanpanjwani.com with the image title and the dimensions you have in mind. Custom-size prints draw from the same edition pool as standard sizes.
What is the return policy?
Because each print is made to order, returns are not accepted for change of mind. If a print arrives damaged or with a production defect, contact prints@roshanpanjwani.com within seven days of delivery with photographs of the damage; a replacement will be arranged at no cost. Who is Roshan Panjwani?
Roshan Panjwani is a Toronto-based nature and wildlife photographer. His image King of Ice has appeared on the cover of Canadian Photography (CAPA) Magazine and been featured by BBC Earth; three additional images have been published inside the same magazine. He is a contributing photographer to Europe's Sea Mammals, published by Princeton University Press. His fine art print collection, launched in 2026, draws on field expeditions across the Arctic, East Africa, South Asia, Central America, and the Himalayas.
Where does Roshan photograph?
Roshan Panjwani photographs across a wide range of ecosystems, with a consistent focus on wildlife and wilderness that receives less sustained photographic attention. Documented locations include Scoresby Sund and the Svalbard Archipelago in the High Arctic, the Masai Mara and Chobe in East and Southern Africa, Ranthambhore and the Himalayas in South Asia, and the rainforests of Costa Rica. A portion of sales from the print collection supports ecosystem conservation.
Has his work been published?
Roshan Panjwani's work has been published by Canadian Photography (CAPA) Magazine, where King of Ice appeared on the cover and three further images were published inside. BBC Earth has featured his work, and he is credited as a contributing photographer on Europe's Sea Mammals (Princeton University Press). Do you offer trade pricing for commercial projects?
Trade pricing is available on Fine Art Edition prints for qualifying commercial orders. Orders of three to five prints receive 10% off; six to ten prints receive 15% off; orders of eleven prints or more are priced by custom quote. The Signature Edition of King of Ice is not available at trade pricing. Contact prints@roshanpanjwani.com to discuss a specific project.
Can I order multiple prints for a hotel or office?
Multi-print orders for hospitality, corporate, or institutional settings are accommodated. Each print remains individually numbered within its edition, with a Certificate of Authenticity for each piece. Because all sizes and substrates draw from a shared edition pool per image, larger volume orders are processed in consultation to confirm edition availability before fulfilment is confirmed.
Can prints be customized for commercial settings (size, quantity, licensing)?
Custom sizes are available by consultation for commercial projects, subject to source file resolution. Licensing of images for reproduction — wall graphics, large-format commercial prints, or other non-fine-art applications — is handled separately from the limited edition print programme and is available by direct negotiation.
