Toronto Fine Art Photography Prints

Roshan Panjwani is a Toronto-based fine art photographer whose work spans the high Arctic, East Africa, the Himalayan plateau, South Asian jungle reserves, and the Costa Rican rainforest. The prints available through this store are limited edition works — hand-signed, numbered, and produced to museum archival standards — drawn from expeditions to places that few cameras reach. Canadian Photography (CAPA) Magazine, BBC Earth, and Princeton University Press have each published the work. The collection is rooted in Toronto and made here.

The Collection

Sixteen images form the collection, drawn from six regions: the high Arctic sea ice of Greenland and Svalbard; the open savanna of the Masai Mara in Kenya; the Chobe floodplain in northern Botswana; high-altitude Himalayan terrain in Ladakh; the rainforest of the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica; and the tiger reserves and Terai floodplain of Ranthambhore, Corbett, and Chitwan across South Asia.

The subjects range from a polar bear on ancient icebergs in Scoresby Sund to a wildebeest herd crossing the Masai Mara, elephants at the Chobe waterline, a scarlet macaw in the Costa Rican rainforest, a sambar deer in Ranthambhore, and a greater one-horned rhinoceros on the Rapti river in Chitwan.

Each image is offered as a Fine Art Edition of 30 prints or — in the case of King of Ice — as a Signature Edition of 15. All prints are hand-signed and numbered by the photographer, and ship with a Certificate of Authenticity. Prices range from $550 to $8,100 CAD.

Printed in Toronto

The prints are produced at Total Image Works in Toronto — a Hahnemühle Certified Studio formed from the merger of Toronto Image Works (founded by Edward Burtynsky in 1986) and Print Partner (founded by photographer and printmaker Andrew Collett in 2009). The combined studio's master printers work across large-format fine art and gallery edition output — including Burtynsky's own. Full substrate details and process are on the About the Prints page.

Substrates and Editions

Three print substrates are available, with the appropriate option selected per image by the photographer:

Fine Art Photo Rag

Hahnemühle cotton rag paper, the benchmark substrate for professional fine art printing. The specific variant (Baryta, Ultra Smooth, or Bright White) is chosen for each image based on tonal character and intended display context. Unframed standard; suitable for traditional framing.

Acrylic Face-Mount

Archival inkjet on professional photographic paper, face-mounted behind 3mm optically clear acrylic with an aluminium Sintra float back. Ready to hang, frameless.

ChromaLuxe HD Metal

Image dyes sublimated directly into a coated aluminium panel. No ink layer, no paper layer. Resistant to moisture and UV. Frameless, ready to hang.

Full substrate specifications are available on the About the Prints page.

For Galleries, Designers, and Collectors in Toronto

The collection is positioned for serious Toronto collectors, interior designers working on residential and hospitality projects, and galleries considering representation. Prints are available at all sizes from 20×30" through 40×60", with trade and hospitality enquiries accommodated by consultation. A portion of proceeds from each sale supports wildlife and habitat conservation.

Toronto-based buyers are welcome to arrange viewings by appointment. The prints are large-format works — seeing them at scale, in person, is the most direct way to assess their presence in a specific space.

Visiting the Collection

In September 2026, a selection of prints from the collection will be exhibited at the Toronto Public Library Deer Park branch, 40 St. Clair Avenue East. The exhibit will be the first public showing of the full-scale works and is open to the general public. Details will be posted to this site and to the studio's Instagram account as the date approaches.

For Toronto-area galleries, design firms, or collectors interested in previewing work ahead of the exhibit, enquiries are welcome through the contact form below.

Contact and Enquiries

For trade orders, gallery enquiries, custom sizing, or questions about a specific print, use the contact form or write directly to the address on the Enquiries page. Toronto-based enquiries typically receive a response within one business day.
